Schools in part of Lafayette, California--including Old Firehouse School, Lafayette Nursery School and Lafayette Elementary--are on lockdown on Thursday following a nearby bank robbery.
A Westamerica Bank branch at 3513 Mt. Diablo Boulevard was robbed, reported KTVU.
Officials are looking in the area for the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses and navy button down long sleeve shirt.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
