Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O, the controversial Australian radio team, announced Friday that they will no longer be on the 2Day FM show, “The Kyle and Jackie O Show.”
“We love you guys, thanks,” Sandilands said, according to MSN.
The duo will sign off at the end of the year for the last time.
“We are excited about the next chapter,” Jackie O said.
Firm Southern Cross Austereo confirmed to the Daily Telegraph: “Both Kyle and Jackie O will celebrate an unrivalled decade at the top of FM radio in Sydney where they have held the No.1 spot for over six years and a sensational 50 surveys at #1 in a row.”
“There is no doubt their legions of loyal fans will want to say farewell to this dynamic duo and so a month of fitting celebrations will ensue,” it added.
Their last show will be on Nov. 29.
