Christmas Day is Sunday, Dec. 25, and it’s dead out there.
Starting with closures, Walmart is closed, Kmart is closed, Target is closed, Sears is closed, and Best Buy is closed. Most Safeways are closed on the day. Albertsons are open 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Christmas Day.
Kroger is closed on Christmas Day, but will stay open to as late as 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Publix is also closed on Christmas Day, but they'll stay open until 7 p.m. Check before going out.
