Kevin Love could be traded within days, according to the latest rumors regarding the Minnesota Timberwolves superstar.

Love wants out of Minnesota so the team has been shopping him around even though he has a year left on his contract.

A number of teams have been pursuing a trade but the Golden State Warriors have reportedly emerged with the best package.

Mychal Thompson said on ESPN LA 710 that he’s heard that Love will be heading to Golden State soon.

“Klay, David Lee and a future first is what I’m hearing from a very reliable source, for the Kevins, Love and Martin, coming back to Golden State,” he said.

That would be Klay Thompson, David Lee, and a future first round pick for Kevin Love and Kevin Martin.

Mychal is the father of Klay.

Then again, ESPN’s Chad Ford claims that the Timberwolves are “playing a game right now.”

“They’re telling some teams no, what we want is established players, we want to win right now; they’re telling other teams what we want is draft picks and future guys,” he said. “They’re trying to figure out what’s the best offer that we can get for Kevin Love and they’re not going to get equal value for Love.”

Other teams that have expressed interest in Love include the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets.
