An Amber Alert has been issued in Shepherdsville, Kentucky for Jaylynn Maxey by the state police.
“Joshua Yaeger, last seen in Shepherdsville, Ky has taken his 2 year old daughter, Jaylynn Maxey,” according to police. “Now due to developing information, law enforcement believes the child is in danger by staying with the non-custodial parent.”
It’s unknown where the pair is headed, but police think they may be en route to family members in Indiana.
Maxey was last seen wearing a black and pink tank top with a swirled design, white sandals, and a pull-up. She could also be wearing a white and yellow polka-dot top with white pants that have ruffles.
She is described as having brown hair, brown eyes, black skin, and weighing around 37 pounds. She is 3'2". She is two years old.
Yaeger has brown hair, white skin, blue eyes, and weighs around 185 pounds. He is 6'1". He is 24 years old.
Yaeger has a full sleeve tattoo on right arm and a Chinese symbol on left side of neck. He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt with logo over breast and green plaid shorts.
They’re likely traveling in a maroon Ford Taurus with a New Jersey license plate: VHM20Z. The hood of the vehicle is painted a black/gray primer.
