Katee Sackhoff of Battlestar Galactica is set to guest star on CSI, and may have a recurring role, according to media reports on Wednesday.

Entertainment Weekly reported that the former 24 actress will not only appear on CSI but also is set to reappear on another CBS show The Big Bang Theory.

On CSI, Sackhoff will play Detective Reed, a capable but insensitive investigator. She will appear on the show sometime in November.

Sackhoff, in reports last year, was going to be the replacement for Jorja Fox’s character after she left CSI a year ago.
