Joe Naso, the convicted “Alphabet murders” serial killer, was sentenced to death by a jury in Marin County, Calif., according to reports.
ABC News reported that Naso, who carried out the murders over a two-decade span, received the sentence at the Marin County Superior Court on Tuesday afternoon.
He was convicted on Aug. 20 for killing Roxene Roggasch, Tracy Tafoya, Pamela Parsons, and Carmen Colon between 1977 and 1994.
Naso, 77, asked the jury to spare him the death penalty.
