John Cena hasn’t died but a number of users on Twitter are saying otherwise.

On Wednesday, the #RIPJohnCena hashtag was trending.

But Cena, who is slated to appear at WrestleMania 30 on Sunday in a match against Bray Wyatt, tweeted once on Wednesday.

“Solid work ethic is commendable, but never underestimate the power that recharging your ‘batteries’ will give you,” he wrote.

But that didn’t prevent people retweeting the false hashtag.

“Okay guys, I think we should stop putting on this ruse #RIPJohnCena and talk about which wrestler really left us He only wanted some decorum,” wrote one person.

Added another: “Just before I go to bed, I want everyone to know that my thoughts and prayers go out to cena’s family during this terrible time #RIPJOHNCENA.”

A few weeks ago the same #RIPJohnCena trended.
