Jennifer Lawrence’s “Hunger Games” costar Josh Hutcherson has spoken out about the recent hack that left naked pictures of Lawrence and multiple other women on the Internet.
Kate Upton, Kaley Cuoco, and Victoria Justice were among the other victims.
“Actually, I haven’t talked to her, but I just think all that stuff is so ridiculous,” Hutcherson told ET Canada.
“We’re people too, man; we just want to live, we want to be normal people. It’s not fair.”
Hutcherson dealt with his own nude photos scandal in 2013.
“I think everyone has their own way of getting through it. It’s something you obviously don’t want to happen to you and its really unfortunate that it happens but, I don’t know. I hate the way the world sort of views those sorts of issues. It’s really, truly not fair,” Hutcherson added.
We are actors, we didn’t get into this because we wanted scandal. We want to live our lives and be actors and like Jen and I always say...people say, ‘Well, you chose to be an actor, you are going to have to deal with this kind of thing.’ Well, no. We didn’t chose to have public scandal, we chose to become artists of acting and I love making movies.
“This is what I can do, this is what I am good at. So it’s like, because this is what I am good at and this is my career means I also have to suffer on this other side? Like, it’s not very fair.”
The FBI is currently investigating the hack.
