Jay Traynor Dead: Former ‘Jay & The Americans’ Singer Dies From Cancer

Jay Traynor, former singer for “Jay & The Americans” has died.

Traynor died after fighting liver cancer for the past two years, the band Jay Siegel’s Tokens announced on Thursday.

Traynor had been playing with the band.

“We all lost a great talent & a true gentleman, & I lost a wonderful friend,” said Jay Siegel via Facebook.

Traynor was 70.

He also sang with “The Mystics.”
