A report is claiming that Janel Parrish, the Pretty Little Liars star and ex-Dancing with the Stars contestant, is scared that dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy will “break her heart.”
There’s never been any confirmation that the two started dating during the show, but there’s been rumors.
A source told gossip site HollywoodLife this week: “She has been telling friends that somethings have already changed with Val now that the show is over.”
“He isn’t showing the same attention that he showed her while they went through the show, he isn’t acting as hands on with her and flirty and romantic,” the person said. “She is still head over heels with him and they are still a thing but the whispers that people talked to her about Val are showing themselves here and there and her friends are scared he will break her heart before Christmas.”
The gossip site also cited a source in saying that Parrish “has fallen for him hard and he has enjoyed the ride and really likes her, but he just doesn’t feel the same way about her that she does about him.” The insider added that their relationship won’t last.
“It’s not going to happen in the long run,” the source then said. “He is going to take the relationship for all it’s worth, but Janel may certainly get her heart-broken. She is currently too blinded by her feelings for him to understand that yet, and nobody wants to burst her bubble.”
However, back in late October, Parrish wrote: “As far as the rumors of romance between Val and me, I just want people to focus on the dancing that we do and the hard work that we do.”
“I appreciate that people see that we have chemistry, and we absolutely do, but whatever feelings we have, those are our feelings and those are personal,” she added.
