Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy are being referred to some as “the new Meryl and Maks,” but they’re taking things pretty far already after kissing twice backstage.
Dancing With the Stars just started but Janel and Val--the brother of Maksim--are getting hot and heavy already, with the couple clearly kissing twice backstage and Janel telling Val “I love you.”
Those moments came after they received their scores from the judges, with Janel obviously disappointed but Val trying to encourage her and saying that they would improve.
Earlier, he new team danced a sexy Jive that had judge Bruno Tonioli saying that Janel was “naughty, naughty, naughty!” adding “I thought I was watching J-Lo.”
Val is currently single but Janel appears to have a boyfriend, Payson Lewis.
Janel is best known for her role as Mona on Pretty Little Liars, though her character was killed off just before the midseason break.
Val is a professional dancer who has spent multiple seasons on Dancing With the Stars, which kicked off season 19 this week.
He was confident even before meeting Janel, telling the camera “When she sees me and I see her this is going to be a match made in heaven.”
And when they started rehearsing, Janel commented on how she loved “his swag.”
“I think he’s one of the best dancers on the show,” she added. Val responded: “She’s amazing. I’m very lucky and fortunate.”
Judging from the chemistry between Janel and Val and their skill, they should go far in this season’s competition.
