The Internal Revenue Service plans to send instructions later this month to the estimated 9 million Americans who haven’t yet received a stimulus check about how to claim the funds.

It mainly applies to people who don’t usually file income tax returns, the IRS said on Sept. 8, adding that those people will have until Oct. 15 to register on the IRS’s website and use its non-filer tool to receive the payments by the end of the year.
