The Honolulu Community College gave an alert on Tuesday that a possible gunman was near the HCC campus.
The alert said that police received a report of the possible gunman just after 10:15 a.m.
There was no indication that the man--said to be wearing khaki shorts and no shirt, and seen on Dillingham Boulevard--had entered the campus.
Later, police gave an “all clear,” at about 10:55 a.m.
Police checked the area and “no threat” was found, police said.
