New pictures of Hayden Panettiere have appeared online on Saturday in an apparent continuation of the leaks following a massive hack that left hundreds of pictures of celebrities online.
Non-nude photos of Panettire, best known for her roles on “Heroes” and “Nashville,” appeared online about a week ago but didn’t receive much attention because they were non-nudes.
But a big second wave of pictures from the hack has appeared on 4chan, Imgur, and other websites on Friday and Saturday. Four pictures that appear to be of Panettiere show her naked but with her private parts covered or blocked by symbols.
The 25-year-old actress, who is currently pregnant and engaged to boxer Wladimir Klitschko, has not responded to either series of leaks.
The photos were originally thought to have been obtained through an iCloud issue but Apple later said that a group of people had targeted specific celebrities through hacking techniques.
The company later vowed to update its security procedures.
Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, and Victoria Justice were among the first victims in the hack. The second wave has had new pictures of Lawrence, as well as photos of Hope Solo, Lake Bell, and Kim Kardashian, among other celebrities.
Most of the pictures are first posted to Anon-IB, a 4chan offshoot, or 4chan, then downloaded by users who then upload them other websites, such as Reddit’s image sharing website Imgur.
