Grey’s Anatomy season 10 is nearing the end with just four episodes left in the season and three before the season finale.

Information coming out lately signals that episode 21 will mark the beginning of the end for Dr. Cristina Yang, who has been confirmed as leaving or being killed off before the beginning of season 11.

The official description for the episode indicates that Jackson is given the daunting task of delivering disappointing news to the doctors while Derek’s sister Amelia drops by for a surprise visit.

Also, Richard surprises Catherine in Boston, and when Bailey gets frustrated by the slow pace of her research, she makes a risky decision.

Episode 22 will see the return of Dr. Preston Burke (Isaiah Washington). Also in the episode, Cristina looks to Meredith for advice as she assesses her future at the hospital, and Derek and Amelia work together on a difficult surgery involving conjoined twins.

Meanwhile, Jo is spread too thin when she tries to work on several cases at once and Stephanie realizes the truth about Bailey’s bubble boy case.

Other big news has been coming out about the last four episodes. Deadline learned that Tessa Ferrer (Leah Murphy) and Gaius Charles (Shane Ross), two fairly new interns on the show, will not be back for next season. On the other hand, Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) and Patrick Dempsey (Derek Shephard) inked new deals to return.

And TVLine reported that there will be a “possible terrorist incident in Seattle” that “sends a flood of casualties to Grey Sloan Memorial”--“ but it mostly serves as a backdrop to the episode’s main event: Cristina’s emotional (and non-deadly) exit.”
