Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) opened the confirmation hearing of Judge Amy Coney Barrett by warning Democrats against repeating a process that dragged out the confirmation hearings for the confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2018.

Graham, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, went over the Senate’s schedule to confirm Barrett and advance her to the Supreme Court before the Nov. 3 election.
