|Updated:

Google Maps has rolled out a different layout for Google’s Chrome browser and gave the small yellow man used to access Street View a Santa hat.

In Chrome, the entire layout for Google Maps has changed.

The left sidebar has been removed and has been mostly replaced with a small search bar on the top left. On the bottom left, there’s a “Earth” feature that’s readily accessible.

Other changes include placing the Street View man, zoom function, and other features on the bottom right. On the top right, one can access their Google account.

These functions aren’t available in Internet Explorer, Safari, or Firefox.

To switch back to the old Google Maps layout, click the question mark on the bottom right and then select “return to classic Google Maps.”
