|Updated:

The Google Maps’ Street View guy--the yellow man used to access the feature--is now wearing a Santa Claus cap in time for Christmas.

It also appears that Google changed the Maps layout, but it appears that it only appears in the Chrome browser.

Tests with Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Comodo Dragon showed the old Google Maps layout.

In Chrome, to change back to the old layout, click the small question mark on the bottom right and click “return to classic Google Maps.”

Other changes includes removing the left sidebar, placing the Satellite view on the bottom left, and placing the street view and zoom function on the bottom right.
