Google Drive (Google Docs) was down for many people on Monday afternoon. Gmail Chat (GChat) and Google Hangouts were also down for many.
Drive appeared to go down after 12 p.m. ET on Monday.
A number of people got a 502 error when they tried to access it.
Several Epoch Times staff members got the error, but some did not.
On Twitter, a large number of people complained about the outage.
“Google drive is down (as is hangouts and gmail chat apparently). Eye opener how much I use it when I can’t access it,” wrote one Twitter user.
Tweeted another, “Google Drive is down. My productivity is down-er.”
“Google Drive is down. #apocalypse,” another person wrote.
