When engaging with an unfamiliar culture, there is a myriad of ways a visitor can go wrong and inadvertently cause offense. Some have to do with surface body language, such as not pointing your finger or putting your feet near food, while other mistakes might manifest as an attitude that opens up some historic, unhealed wound.
