A man apparently tried to kill himself by jumping off New York City’s George Washington Bridge on Tuesday morning, according to early reports.

Preliminary reports came in at around 11:40 a.m. that a person jumped into the Hudson River.

New York Police Department Harbor officials were responding to the incident, according to preliminary reports.

A  report said that “multiple witnesses” saw a man jump.

The man is now apparently in the Hudson River.

It is unclear if he was killed during the jump.
