George Clooney to Receive Coveted Cecil B. DeMille Award 2015

Actor George Clooney seems to have good luck in the year 2014. Not only will he finally meet a lady at the end of the isle, but it’s also been announced that he'll receive the coveted Cecil B. DeMille Award at the next Golden Globes ceremony. 

The Golden Globes will be held on January 11, 2015, is one of Hollywood’s most exciting ceremonies and this time Clooney will follow in the footsteps in the likes of Woody Allen, Morgan Freeman, and Robert De Niro.

The Cecil B. DeMille Award is named after the legendary director and producer is given to talented individuals who have made an incredible impact on the world of entertainment. With Clooney’s undeniable skill both in front of and behind the camera, he certainly deserves this honor. 

Clooney has already won the globe four times with 12 nominations in nine different categories, making him a regular at the event. 

In addition, his most recent movie “The Monuments Men” may earn him some more nominations as he not only starred in the war drama but also wrote it, produced it, and directed it.
