Saudia Arabia said on June 17 that the MERS coronavirus has killed four more people.

The virus, which causes coughing, fever, and pneumonia, has killed 32 people out of 49 infected in Saudia Arabia, according to Reuters, which cited the country’s health ministry.

The worldwide death toll is 34 as of June 15, according to the World Health Organization.

The cause of the disease is still unknown, while it has spread across Europe as well as the Middle East.

Also on June 17, an official with Jordan’s Ministry of Health told Amman that at least 10 people were infected in the outbreak in April.

Two of these people died, according to the Canadian Press.
