Footage Shows Mom Leaving Subway Bathroom Without Baby After Giving Birth

Surveillance video shows a pregnant homeless woman entering a California Subway sandwich shop, entering the bathroom, then leaving minutes later covered in blood, authorities said.

Her newborn was found by employees in the toilet, partially submerged in water, and crying, West Covina police said. Mary Grace Trinidad, 38, was arrested Monday and is currently hospitalized, police said.

Her baby boy, who was originally listed in critical condition, is now doing well, authorities said.
