NEW YORK—The cloudy weather didn’t dampen the spirits of the hundreds of foodies who came out to celebrate the 17th annual “Harvest in the Square” on Thursday evening at Union Square.

Country tunes from “The Nashville Attitude” serenaded guests as they walked the red carpet-lined tents filled with the colorful sights and delicious smells of 50 of the top-rated gourmet restaurants from the Union Square area.

There was food to fit every palette, such as Indian food by Devi, Mexican food by Rosa Mexicano, and even a mac-and-cheese hotdog by Big Daddy.
