Uber-chef Mario Batali and entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson will offer a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” to foodies in a charity auction event for an evening of glorious food, vintage wine, and witty conversation.

The dynamic duo are auctioning off an opportunity to join them for an intimate evening and sit-down dinner for 20 at Mario’s new restaurant in New York City, Eataly.

The evening will consist of a Bellini and a behind-the-scenes tour of Eataly’s 50,000-square-foot space, followed by cocktails and an antipasti demo, reports looktothestars.org. The highlight of the evening will be a four-course dinner at the Piemontese “Carne” restaurant with paired wines from the Borgogno Barolo Estate and white truffles.

Proceeds will support the Mario Batali Foundation, established to feed, protect, educate, and empower children; and Virgin Unite, the foundation arm of the Virgin Group, which supports entrepreneurs tackling tough social and environmental problems.
