Waterspouts were spotted near Tampa Bay on Tuesday afternoon. Photos of the non-supercell tornadoes over water were circulated online.
Fox-13 reported that a waterspout was spotted near the Gandy Bridge. Another waterspout was said to be approaching MacDill Air Force Base.
“Waterspout over #TampaBay about 30 minutes ago,” wrote ABC.
Another waterspout appeared to form near the Howard Frankland bridge in St. Petersburg, according to ABC.
Earlier on Tuesday, there were reported waterspouts near Miami and other parts of Florida.
The National Weather Service later confirmed the Miami waterspouts.
