A French fitness model was reportedly killed in a whipped cream accident.
Rebecca Burger’s family told the New York Post that a defective whipped cream dispenser exploded and hit her in the chest.
She ultimately died of cardiac arrest after receiving medical attention, with her family terming the incident a “domestic accident.”
Burger, who was well-known in France, had 55,000 Facebook fans and 154,000 followers on Instagram.
The family warned against the dispenser, The BBC reported.
A French consumer group warned readers for years about faulty connectors on dispensers, which would cause them to break and expel at high speed.
One victim of a dispenser explosion told RTL radio: “I had six broken ribs, and my sternum was broken.
“At the hospital, I was told that if the shock and blast had been facing the heart, I would be dead now.”
