Rita Ora, who has been the talk of the movie scene these last couple of months, is opening up to learning different genres for movie career, as she has a role in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey as Christian Grey’s sister.

Coming from a singer-song writer background, Ora has had very little experience with acting. But that didn’t stop her from landing her role in Fifty Shades of Grey. She’ll do just about anything to kick-start her acting career, even if that means not only learning French for the part, but working on her American accent as well, she is going to do it.

Ora told MTV that she learned a lot from working with Dakota Johnson, the female lead in the movie. “She is an amazing actress so I’m learning things from her,” Ora said.

Ora alsoexplained that this role has been a great learning process for her.

“I was being the smart girl that came from French school to see her family, so it was just a lot of dedication. It was like going back to school,” she explained to MTV.

Ora said that even though it felt like she was going back to school to learn this role, it was a great experience. She explained that it was a great learning curve for her as an actress, “I would do it all over again,” Ora said.

The film, based on the popular book, will hit theaters on February 14, 2015.
