A recent Family Feud “zombie” question prompted harsh criticism online.
Host Steve Harvey asks a woman to name something she knows about zombies.
The woman, Christie, who is white, says that zombies are black.
The portion of the show was put into a YouTube video but that video has since made private.
Commentors on Gawker tried to figure out where the woman was coming from.
“Maybe she means...literally black, like...gangrenous? Or...I don’t know. I got nothing. Oh, Christie,” said one.
“I’m trying to figure out where the association came from too,” said another. “Aren’t they supposed to be pale? Maybe have black circles under their eyes? This is just such a weird blurt.”
