Emma Thompson, an Oscar-winning actress, has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The actress and screenwriter was joined by Nanny McPhee Returns co-star Maggie Gyllenhaal, longtime friend and ex-flame Hugh Laurie and, and of all things, a pig. Fitting indeed, as Emma Thompson’s Hollywood star now rests outside Hollywood Boulevard pub The Pig n' Whistle.
The Sense and Sensibility actress received the Walk of Fame’s 2,416th star. The unveiling ceremony took place on Aug. 6.
Thompson has won the big three Best Actress Awards, including an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and a BAFTA Award.
Nanny McPhee Returns, Thompson’s and Gyllenhaal’s latest film, is set to be released in two weeks.
