Earthquake Today in Japan: 6.4 Quake Hits Near Kunisaki; SW of Hiroshima

An earthquake struck today just miles off the coast of Japan near the cities of Kunisaki-shi, Kitsuki, and Hikari.

The 6.4 magnitude quake was also about 75 miles southwest of Hiroshima.

It struck at a relatively deep depth of 51.5 miles (82.9 kilometers).

It was also about 375 miles from Seoul.
