An earthquake today, Sunday, hit just 30 miles from Tokyo in Japan.
The magnitude 5 quake hit at a depth of 40.9 miles at about 3 p.m. local time.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage, reported Reuters, citing Japanese news agencies.
The quake was felt in Ibaraki, Tochigi and Saitama prefecture, reported Japan Today. It was also felt in Tokyo, Chiba, Kanagawa and Gunma prefectures.
No tsunami warning was issued.
