Action movie star Dwayne Johnson was so touched by the story of a 10-year-old boy saving his brother, that he invited the boy to the Vancouver set of the current film he is working on.

Johnson took notice of media reports about the boy using a lifesaving technique that he learned from one of Johnson’s films. Jacob O'Connor found his brother face down in a pool at his grandmother’s house. He used a technique he learned from the 2015 disaster movie “San Andreas” to get his 2-year-old brother’s heart beating again, as The Epoch Times reported.

Jacob gave his brother chest compressions. He remembered seeing Johnson do the move in “San Andreas.” “There was an earthquake, then it caused a tsunami and then there was a daughter that was drowning and he had to get her out and he did the same thing,” Jacob told WXYZ.

After catching wind of the story, Johnson was ecstatic, calling Jacob a “real life hero” and sending out multiple tweets and Instagram posts in praise.

Jacob will now get a chance to meet “The Rock” on the Vancouver set of “Skyscraper,” a movie due out in 2018. “The Rock” sent out the invite via Instagram, and enticed Jacob with what he can expect on set.

“When you come to my movie sets it’s like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory dude, because you can eat all the sweets you want, and it’s all free. Yes! It’s free!”

The mother has been hyping her son’s newfound international notoriety on across her Facebook page.

“This has been an absolute blessing for my oldest son, Jacob! I want to thank you all again!! This is making national news!!!!

“BBC (like a CNN of the United Kingdom)!, Good Morning America, Inside Edition, CTV News in Canada, Washington Post, New York Post, Detroit Free Press, Channel 7, C & G news and I am still going for him!! Thank you to all of the reporters taking time out to recognize my son the hero!”

Here is the synopsis of “San Andreas“ from the official website:

“After the infamous San Andreas Fault gives, triggering a magnitude 9-plus earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) and his estranged wife (Carla Gugino) make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter.

“But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning. And when they think the worst may be over … it’s just getting started.”
