The next two episodes of 19 Kids and Counting, featuring the Duggar family, will focus on Jill Duggar as she prepares for her wedding to Derick Dillard.
The wedding already happened in realtime but the show is recorded beforehand, so the wedding hasn’t happened yet during it.
The October 14 episode is titled “Wedding Countdown!”
“With only one week to go, the Duggars are counting down the days until Jill’s wedding!” says the episode description.
“From securing a rehearsal getaway car to filling up the couple’s new home with furniture purchased at a local auction, this super-size family is in full-on wedding mode.”
The October 21 episode is titled “All About Jill.”
“Jill Duggar is about to become Jill Dillard! ” says the description.
“See her very special bridal shower, where she spends time with the mamas and babies she’s met through her work as a midwife. Could the next shower for Jill be a baby shower?”
Both episodes will be one-hour long, and re-aired at 11 p.m. EDT.
Jill is now pregnant in realtime and recently shared a picture of herself at 15 weeks and 3 days.
Jill and Derick recently shared in a video that they‘ll have a big announcement on October 21. Some believe that they’ll be announcing the gender of the child.
Meanwhile, Michelle Duggar shared in a video about her wedding.
“My wedding was 30 years ago, reminiscing about when Jim Bob and I got married,” she recalled.
“We chose to have our wedding on Saturday morning. That was a little unique, I think, because most people don’t do morning weddings, but we just thought that we wanted to have our whole day together after our wedding, and so we just got a really sweet ceremony. It was very simple, it wasn’t anything elaborate.
“We actually got married in a hallway because our sanctuary at our church hadn’t even been built yet. And then our pastor, who was our great mentor that we loved and looked up to, he was the one who officiated our wedding ceremony.
“We had a small reception following, and then we were off and on our way ... we were probably finished by noon and on our way.”
