Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are expected to announce the gender of their baby on Tuesday after they teased that they’re going to make “a really big announcement.”
Jill, 23, and Derick, 26, teased the announcement in a video released recently in which they discuss how the second trimester has been different from the first.
“You get to feel the baby move, and you feel better,” Jill said. “You’re not super big pregnant yet. It’s exciting!”
They also revealed that Jill has had a lot of cravings over the past couple months, including sour, salty, sweet cold food.
Derick smiled and said that he’s gaining weight as well.
And they also said that they might already know the gender.
“Right now there’s a lot to make us think that we’re having a girl, but we’re just guessing,” Derick said.
But Jill cautioned that they don’t actually know.
“We’ve got lots of people telling us it’s a girl, but a lot of other ones telling us it’s a boy. So, really, it’s a 50/50 chance!” Jill said.
Jill previously said that the couple would reveal the gender of the baby to fans prior to the birth, another piece of evidence indicating that that’s what the big announcement will be.
The announcement will likely be posted online a couple of hours before the new “19 Kids and Counting” episode, which was the timing of the pregnancy update video.
