New episodes of the Duggars’ TLC show 19 Kids and Counting have been released.

Season 8 restarted earlier this month and three episodes have aired already.

The show airs on Tuesday nights.

The first episode saw Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard start planning their wedding, with the help of family members and friends.

The second episode saw Jill and Derick go on a hike and picnic along with James, their chaperone. “For me it’s not awkward being a chaperone because I’m just here for the food,” James said, although he got carsick during the drive. The trio enjoyed a picnic lunch of bread, cheese, hummus, and figs after hiking to a lookout point.

Jessa Duggar and now-fiance Ben Seewald went on a date to a shooting range, with Jason chaperoning.

And Michelle took Jennifer to get fitted for a pair of glasses. Jennifer turned seven in August.

The third episode included more about Jill’s and Derick’s wedding plans, such as tasting cakes and touring venues. The couple visited the home of their wedding baker, who is one of Jill’s midwifery clients. They end up deciding on a French vanilla cake with strawberry filling. Jessa chips in and says that she’s going to serve ice cream instead of cake at her wedding.

The couple tours several venues, but the first two don’t work out as one is too small while the other, a country club, is big enough but too fancy. “We’re more barefoot and backyard kind of people,” Michelle explains.

The third gets a booking--Cross Church, which is where Jim Bob and Michelle were married in 1984.

Also in the episode, Jim Bob and most of the kids build soap box derby cars from kits that they found online.

Anna, Josh’s wife, is also seen with her three children in Washington, D.C. doing crafts.
