In a recent report by Doctor Who TV, speculated that a new writer for Series 8 of the sci-fi thriller will be coming on board.

Writer of Wallander, Case Histories and an upcoming BBC adaptation of the fantasy-history Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, Peter Harness is working on a script for the upcoming series.

“Doctor Who” is written by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, who also write the immensely popular British “Sherlock” series.
