BOSTON—Artists and creatives of all ages and backgrounds flocked to the Boston Opera House this week to take in Shen Yun Performing Arts.
Nathan Porteshawver, director, author, playwright, and founder of the nonprofit theater company The Internet Players, attended the Feb. 9 performance and said it was a visual feast.
“I like it. It’s very spectacular, very pleasant to the eye,” he said. “The movement on stage in particular is very good—inspirational.”
“Through the universal language of music and dance, Shen Yun weaves a wondrous tapestry of heavenly realms, ancient legends and heroic modern-day epics,” the Shen Yun website states. “Shen Yun presents themes of compassion and courage with stunning beauty and tremendous energy, leaving audiences uplifted and inspired.”
