Dimitri Miles, Troy University Football Player, Arrested on Murder Charge

Dimitri Miles, a football player at Troy University in Alabama, has been arrested and charged with murder.

The Troy Police Department reported that Miles, 21, fatally shot a 26-year-old man named Marquise Jermaine McClendon early Sunday morning.

McClendon was pronounced dead ay the Troy Regional Medical Center, reported Fox.

Police obtained a warrant for and arrested Miles 

Miles is being held in the Pike County Jail, and his bond has been set at $100,000.

Troy University said Miles has been suspended.
