A Detroit man who was falsely incarcerated when he was 15 years old will be released on June 8, by order of a Wayne County judge.
Davontae Sanford, now 23, of Detroit, served almost nine years in prison for four murders, for which a professional hit man later took responsibility.
Judge Brian Sullivan dropped all charges against Sanford on June 7, Maria Miller, an assistant prosecuting attorney at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, told ABC News today.
