Democrats Respond to Rep. Van Drew’s Reported Switch to GOP

Top Democrats have responded to reports saying Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-N.J.) will switch his party affiliation over his caucus’ drive to impeach President Donald Trump.

In the House, Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) told ABC News that Van Drew, who has indicated he will not vote to impeach Trump, is “reacting to is public polling that shows he can’t get renominated.”
