New York—The world of modern technology is continuing it’s rapid advancement as Dell’s Alienware raises the bar in the pc market with the M11X, a sleek gaming laptop in a size and footprint of a notebook.

The M11X is now on display at the world’s largest consumer electronic show in Las Vegas known as the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

This high memory and fast acting laptop designed for pc gamers are turning heads not only at the convention but in the electronics press as well.

The hot new item is a hybrid design that lands between a high functioning laptop and a netbook that normally would not have the capability to run complex gaming programs.

PC’s that are used by serious online gamers are known for being bulky and rather heavy to facilitate the extra memory needed for proper function and suitable graphics. By contras, this new laptop from Dell is delivering all the needed memory and functions with less weight and a clever design.

With a 11.6” screen, Core2Duo processor, and a list price under $1100 many pc users are awaiting the official release of the M11X.

Another unique feature of the  M11X is it’s ability to be set two different graphics levels that will allow the battery to run longer on the low setting and a high quality visual experience on the higher setting.

Another attractive feature for the M11X is the extended battery life giving the user up to six hours of time without being tied down by a power cable. Dell will announce the official release date on their website later this year.
