Ddendyl, a New York native who now lives in Washington, D.C., auditioned on “The Voice” on March 10.
She sang “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King.
“Your voice is very different than any other voice that I’ve heard so far,” Shakira said. Shakira was the only judge turned around, so Ddendyl automatically went to her team.
Shakira also said that Ddendyl has a lot of air in her voice.
