Esteemed pilot David Traill, and police officers Kirsty Nelis and Tony Collins have been identified as the victims of the Glasgow helicopter crash.
Traill, 51, was piloting the helicopter. He was a retired RAF flight lieutenant who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Heather Lawson, a cousin, said that Traill was a king man who loved photography. “He always had time for everybody.”
Both constables (Nelis, 36, and Collins, 43) were members of the helicopter unit, and had been previously commended for acts of bravery, Police Scotland Chief Constable Sir Stephen House told STV.
Another five people died in the pub that the Eurocopter EC135 T2 helicopter hit, including Gary Arthur, 48, of Paisley.
The crash happened on November 30, around 10:30 p.m. local time.
