David Kyem, the Central Connecticut State University student who prompted an hours-long lockdown on Monday, was arrested again after returning to school on Tuesday.
Kyem was told not to return to campus until he met with staff at the university’s office of student conduct. But he was spotted on campus at about 1:14 p.m. on Tuesday.
He was arrested and charged with Criminal Tresspass in the first degree, the university’s police department said in a statement.
“Kyem was given a written promise to appear with the same court date of the previous arrest: November 14,” the police said.
“Kyem was advised verbally and in writing not to come back on campus until meeting with CCSU Director of Student Conduct Chris Dukes.”
Kyem set off the lockdown after returning to campus in a Halloween costume carrying a fake sword and gun, which prompted a student to call police.
He later apologized for his actions.
