Daniel Tyler Lee was identified as one of the soldiers killed in Afghanistan.
His family, from Kentucky, was notified of Lee’s death Wednesday morning, WKRC reported.
Lee’s mother told the station that he served with the Army Special Forces. He is from the area, graduating from Dixie Heights High School in 2003.
Lee was shot but the details are unclear.
