[xtypo_dropcap]G[/xtypo_dropcap]ubernatorial candidate and current Attorney General Andrew Cuomo endorsed Manhattan State Senator Eric Schneiderman in his bid for state attorney general over the weekend.
“I think Eric is going to do an outstanding job on all levels,” Cuomo told a crowd of people, according to NY1. “One of the challenging aspects of the attorney general’s office [is that it’s] a multi-faceted position.”
Schneiderman, a Democrat, is running against Republican Staten Island Attorney General Dan Donovan, who recently received support from Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
