In the last episode of “Community’s” Season 5, “Basic Sandwish,” the study group will delve into the legend of the disgraced former Greendale’s first Dean, Russell Borchert, guest star Chris Elliott “Eagleheart.”
The dean, a reclusive, wealthy genius who disappeared from Greendale amid a personal scandal in the 1970s. When Shirley and Professor Buzz Hickey (Jonathan Banks) locate the school’s blueprints, Annie and Abed will lead the search for Borchert’s old computer lab, which was sealed years ago.
Subway will return to the college with plans to take over the campus for a Subway University and will enlist Chang to secretly keep tabs on the study group. In the 13th episode, “The Save Greendale Committee embarks on an epic journey to actually save Greendale once and for all,” writes NBC.
Meanwhile, Jeff and Britta announce that they plan to get married.
The series also stars Jim Rash as Dean Pelton and comedian John Oliver as Professor Ian Duncan.
The finale episode will air on at 8 p.m. on NBC, on April 17, 2014.
